Bringing a Company
Back to Life

IHE members get an inside look at how Equifax transformed itself into one of the top performing S&P companies

Members of the IHE community traveled to Atlanta to see firsthand how the management team at Equifax, a leading US credit information services company, turned around their company. Bill Catucci, IHE advisor and EVP of Global Operations, and his colleagues Kate Parrish, Human Resources director, and Bill Hickman, Governance Officer, led a discussion on the keys to this remarkable turnaround.

Rave Reviews:  One of IHE's members, the CEO of a 2000-person health care company, gave this review of the visit:

"I was really truly impressed... (Their story) is living proof of the most exemplary leadership practices you could hope to find in the country.... I felt very, very privileged and honored to be included.

"You certainly have my A+++ vote on this one.... I think that spreading the word and influencing others like this could really revolutionize business practices for human beings in this country."

For the record:  The Equifax transformation is no fluke.  It is the second corporate turnaround in a row for Bill Catucci.

Corporations and their leaders are under fire from all sides to honor business ethics and integrity, yet also to achieve superior business performance. While the media focuses on negative examples and the damage to employee morale, retirement benefits and employment security, we can learn important lessons by focusing also on positive examples. How do highly effective— and ethical leaders—maintain high standards of integrity even while achieving superior business results?

Our research suggests that the answer lies in understanding the human energy dimension of the corporation and leadership. Thus we offer a seminar on

"Leading in an Era of Human Energy Economics"
